NuTek Machinery is the North American importer for four of Europe's leading woodworking machinery manufacturers — chosen for engineering quality, paired with the kind of direct factory relationships and on-the-ground service that keeps your equipment running.
Built by a technician. Run by people who know what production really demands.
NuTek Machinery was founded by someone who came up through the trade — operating machines, repairing them, and working inside the production environments that depend on them. Not as a salesperson who learned the industry from the outside, but as a technician who understood what a downed line costs, what a poorly-built machine feels like under load, and what separates a tool that runs for fifteen years from one that fights you for two.
That perspective shapes every decision we make. The brands we represent — Ott, KRC CNC, Omaksan, and Jowi — were chosen because they're engineered for real production environments, not because they were available to distribute. We don't carry overlapping product lines or hedge with multiple suppliers per category. We represent the manufacturer we'd trust on our own shop floor.
That distinction matters when something breaks at 3 PM on a Thursday with a Friday deadline. Our technicians are factory-trained directly by the manufacturers. Our parts inventory sits in Bedford, Ohio — not in a warehouse overseas. And our phones answer until 8 PM Eastern, because production runs second shift.
The woodworking machinery business is full of distributors who sell equipment. Fewer of them have actually run that equipment for a living.
NuTek started from the opposite direction. The founder — still actively involved in the business today — built the company around a single question that drove every brand selection, every service investment, and every parts decision: would I be willing to put this machine on my own floor, and stand behind it five years from now?
That question rules out a lot of what's available on the market. It rewards machines that are over-engineered for their price point, built by manufacturers with deep technical depth, and designed by people who understand how panels actually move through a shop. It's why we represent four European brands — and not more.
When you ask us about a machine, the answer comes from people who have operated, repaired, and integrated equipment into production lines — not just read the brochure.
We represent the European leader in each category we cover. That's a choice, not a constraint — we'd rather support four manufacturers exceptionally well than carry fifteen casually.
A machine you can't get serviced is a machine you eventually replace. We sell capital equipment, but what we actually deliver is the assurance that the equipment keeps running.
Rather than carrying overlapping product lines from multiple suppliers, we represent the European leader in each category we serve. One relationship covers the four pillars of modern panel processing.
Ott edgebanders for cabinet shops and panel processors — PUR-capable Combimelt glue systems, from compact to high-volume production lines.
The KRC CNC Phantom — production routing for nesting and high-volume woodworking with Beckhoff controls and aluminum matrix tables.
Omaksan Holemaster CNC drilling centers — eight models from compact 1030 machines to fully-automated 2+1 six-sided production cells.
Jowi mobile and vertical transport racks — Austrian-engineered shop fixtures for horizontal and upright storage of panels, doors, frames, and parts.
Being the North American importer isn't a marketing claim — it's an operational reality. It means a different set of obligations, capabilities, and customer experience than buying through a reseller.
Each of these manufacturers is the leader in its category. We don't hedge with overlapping suppliers — we represent the best in each, and back them with the service infrastructure to match.
