Mobile and vertical transport racks engineered for cabinet shops, furniture manufacturers, custom millwork producers, and panel processors. Built in Austria, used worldwide. Two product families — one for horizontal storage of furniture parts and boards, one for vertical storage of panels, doors, and frames. Sales and service from NuTek Machinery in Bedford, Ohio.
Jowi makes two distinct rack categories for different storage and transport needs. The difference comes down to one fundamental choice: do your parts lie flat or stand up?
Horizontal storage — material lies flat
Wheeled racks with multiple horizontal storeys formed by parallel support tubes. Material lies flat across the tubes, like books on a shelf. Adjustable storey heights let you configure spacing to match what you're storing.
Vertical storage — material stands upright
Wheeled racks with an inclined frame holding material upright, like albums in a record bin. Compartments separate parts; the slight tilt keeps everything stable during transport. Ideal where flat storage wastes floor space.
Jowi has been engineering workshop racks in Austria since the early 1980s. Their reputation comes from three things: build quality that lasts, thoughtful design for real-world shop conditions, and a system that's modular enough to grow with your shop.
A few quick turns of a hexagon socket set screw adjusts storey heights on Mobile Racks. Cam levers handle length adjustments on the X, XX, and X3 models. No proprietary tools, no calling for a service tech — the operator adjusts the rack to match the material whenever the job changes.
Ball-bearing steering castors with convex tread move full loads through tight spaces. Larger 160 mm and 200 mm castors on heavier racks handle uneven floors and threshold transitions. Optional directional locks switch swivel castors to straight-tracking for long pushes down aisles.
Fixed-frame Mobile Racks stack inside one another when unloaded — five racks in the footprint of one. Length-adjustable models (Dabelju, X, XX, X3) collapse to a fraction of their working length. Floor space taken by storage is space that pays itself back when it's not needed.
Anywhere material needs to move through a shop, drying needs to happen between operations, or finished work needs protection during handling — Jowi racks earn their place.
Doors and drawer fronts move between sanding, finishing, and assembly with surfaces protected and parts kept in order.
Modular furniture components stay sorted by order through edge banding, drilling, finishing, and final assembly.
Finished doors and window frames stored vertically without surfaces touching — Capreolus and Picus protect easily-damaged finishes.
Worktops, panels, and architectural components handled and transported between stations without damage from operator handling.
